Anria Liana | 19 Female White Hawk Bisexual Alias: Sunny |
Independent
| Fierce
| Stubborn
| Lonely
|
Appearance the It's hard to miss Anria, with her curly, dark red hair falling just to her mid back. She has great, white wings with dark gray highlights in some places. Her eyes are a rare, unique shade, a blue-teal that fades into a soft, cacti green around the pupil. Anria's features are sharp to match her witty personality, including her defined jaw, brow, and cheek bones. Due to her competitive nature, in wanting to show that she's 'better' than everyone, she is incredibly thin, and has no shame wearing contouring clothing. Her muscles are defined, though not to be mistaken with oversize. Her makeup and nails are always on point, and she rarely is seen without her sinister smirk and judgmental glare. In her animal form, a white hawk, Anria's body is thickly covered in white, downy feathers and gray-black speckling. She retains her sharp, green-teal eyes with the exception of a more elliptic pupils. Her wings are twice as wide as she is long, boasting both strength and agility. Her body is not without many scars. She has a pale scar on her left hip, where a burning pillar fell on her during the fire that killed her parents, a few from accidents in her childhood, and several she acquired while fleeing the HBES. In Haven, she mildly scarred her collarbone when she thrown against a tree by Sheem, a mutant half-blood controlled by the HBES. Her wings were torn during a bloody spar with Kirito, but her feathers cover those scars up perfectly.
Personality To any stranger she meets, and even some acquaintances, Anria is nearly an unbreakable shell. She refuses to initiate socializing, if it she does get caught in socializing, she's not friendly about it. Negativity is her strong point in expressing, and will take almost any chance to make enemies. Anria's fear, justified by her history, is of betrayal and exposure, which is one of her reasons for rejecting anyone, friendly or not. The only way to gain Anria's trust is to slowly make friends with her, and avoid lying at all costs. Being friends with her will grant you immense protection, and supreme trust, as she would gladly lay down her life to protect the ones she loves. She immensely enjoys teasing and confusing people, friends and enemies, even kissing persons she (literally) fights with for the sheer sight of their surprise. Unknowing to her, Anria desires friendship and wants to be trusted, however she forces herself to become dark and sinister, going so far as to threaten murder when she feels a moment of weakness. History Before Haven
Anria grew up with one of those wealthy, yet somehow peaceful lives, in a three-bed, three-bath, luxurious homes on twenty acres of forestry property. Her lean, sharp build came from her humble, nature-loving mother, Theresa. Her father's name was Ethan, a passionate man who worked as CEO for a major business, and would often send his extra profits to charity, if not to the lavish lifestyle he let his family thrive in. She and her sister, Olivia, were the spitting image of each other, having both received a recessive gene for their unnatural red hair from their father's decent. Anria's best friend, Katie, whom she had known since birth, lived ten miles down the nearby trail, and would often ride her horse over to socialize and watch movies. Occasionally, Katie used to pony her other horse on her way over off the horn so the two girls could ride together, though horse was always frightened of Anria, smelling something inhuman that panicked him whenever he was near her. Instead, Anria and Katie would hang out doing other teenager-y things. Anria was always very kind, polite, and modest throughout her childhood. She worked hard in school and placed high-expectation goals ahead of her, effectively excelling all around in academics and athletics. Anria was well known, thanks to her father's status and wealth, but she never let it get to her head. Only her family knew she was a therian. Her sister was half-dove after Ethan, Anria a white hawk after her Theresa. To hide her ever-growing, large wings, Anria would rarely dress up, and would always wear sweaters, coats cardigans. They were relatively small at the time, as she had grown up petite until she was fifteen, but it was a hassle to conceal nonetheless. On her fourteenth birthday, January 7th, Anria asked for no gifts. Instead, she wished only that her best friend would accept her as a therian. At the time, Katie's father was training to be an HBES soldier, and by revealing her animal half, Anria hoped to prevent her friend from becoming prejudice towards therians. Katie was horrified, she tried to hide it, but Anria could tell. Her best friend cautiously checked her phone, pulled together an excuse as to why she would have to go home, and briskly left. Anria fell asleep crying. The smell of smoke was what woke her up. Katie had gone straight to her father and reported Anria's family as half-bloods. The HBES was on them in hours, burning their home to the ground. Anria was barely able to escape the blaze, limping away from the scene after a burning beam fell on her waist and burned her hip to the muscle. Anria's family was killed, she was unable to save them, and she had felt accountable ever since. Because her family was well-known, her face turned up under varying headings of "DANGEROUS THERIAN ESCAPES GOVERNEMENT" all across the country, and could never settle down enough to process all that had happened. Anria spent the better of five years fleeing the HBES, who never managed to lose track of her. She trained herself by any means possible, only chancing one or two trainers here and there, gaining her skill only though discipline and experience. That day her family was killed, Anria vowed to never again trust someone, to embrace her animal side, and to never again experience such betrayal. Since, she has been closed off, refusing to take the high road, and her innocence was quickly replaced by hostility. Then she heard Katie had been killed by a therian, and the blame had been placed on her. On her nineteenth birthday, it all hit her at once. Anria found herself at the base of a large oak tree, her mother's favorite tree, calling the HBES to surrender. She was so tired, so exhausted from running, she had decided to turn herself in. She could just hear the sirens approaching in the distance as she sat, defeated, watching the mountains in the distance, when the scene changed before her eyes. It was as though someone had drawn a village before the valley she was watching, then erased all around a circle of it. Curious, Anria approached it, and found a whole different world hidden from the human realm. She stepped through the hole, the the world behind her closed up as the HBES roared up the hill, and began her new life in Haven.
In Haven
It wasn't long after entering Haven and settling a claim on a house that Anria met her first acquaintance, Edessa Elridge (Laura Schon) , a rattlesnake half-blood with MPD. It was here that Anria was feeling indecisive about entering Haven. After some discussion about being the 'loudest' voice in your own head, and convincing Laura to try to be the leader of her personalities, Anria experienced her first breakdown, in which she felt completely consumed by anger when reminded of her past. Anria made her first enemy when she harrassed Charlotte Sharnick (Charlotte Sharnick)in a brief encounter consisting of wit, glares, smirks and threats. Stressed out about it being a day before her birthday, and therefore the fifth anniversary of her family's death, Anria was, in the least, abstract in her emotions. By starting out by picking on the first person she saw, Anria eventually became friends with Ryan Snow (Ryan Snow) over a friendly therian battle of wits and arrogance. It isn't long before Anria gets into an intense and startlingly moving fight with a mutant goat therian being controlled by the HBES. Her opponent, phoenix (Asriel Dremurr), after being carefully picked apart by Anria and her sudden compassion, shared a moment in which Anria promised the mind-controlled humanity left within the beast that she would protect Haven from him. Along the way, Anria also meets a boy named @cecerawr(Cecil) and another one named P.J. Herzfeld (P.J. Herzfeld). Both meetings were interesting, however the ends of which are unknown (The threads were never completed). In a chance meeting, Anria runs into Kirito (Kirito), another sharp tongued former warrior not unlike herself. After mild debate, the two agree to a spar, which would commence in a secluded forest in the Human Realm. True to their word, the two meet outside the boundaries and rules of Haven, where weapons and combat are permitted, to access Anria's hidden stash of weapons. Prior to their fight, Anria chose to use knives, while Kirito selected two swords. Though a seemingly unequal fight, the two were well matched and ruthless sparring partners, using their weapons to their skill set. The match ended in a bloody tie, and both swore to be better in the future. Anria's first encounter with Chase Anderson (Chase Anderson) was not long after Chase had moved into his new home. Wanting to make a lasting impression on her new neighbor, she skipped on over to his house to introduce herself. She succeeds by antagonizing and demeaning Chase, and by joking about the deaths of both of their parents in a cryptic and dark way. Though it was clear they were not necessarily fond of each other, they agreed to go out for lunch to sate Anria's appetite, with Chase paying, of course. A brief encounter with a Ronan Walsh (Ronan Walsh) in the gymnasium. Some time later, the paths of Chase Anderson (Chase Anderson) and Anria Liana crossed again. While Chase had been mourning his mother's death, Anria had come to pay her own respects to a little memorial she had constructed, a tower of stones and three roses tucking into the cracks, Chase, though hesitant given Anria's usual temper, was allowed to mourn with her. Despite Anria's reserved emotions and dismissal of Chase's careful words, she finally allowed herself to confide to him that she needed a friend, and they even shared a hug and the words (so rare from her lips) "I'm sorry." Unfortunately, when Chase was merely pointing out the obvious about an irrelevant something, Anria snapped, threatening him with a rock, completely taken by emotions, and understandably, Chase ran from her. Though she wouldn't have admitted to it, she felt deeply sorry and completely responsible for driving him away, and wished only to make it up to him. Some time soon after her encounter with Chase gone horribly wrong, Anria was introduced to Alec Weathers (Alec Weathers). Undeterred by Anria's flirtatious remarks, half-nudity, and forced come-backs, Alec successfully yanks off a chunk of Anria's facade, claiming that he was just like her in the sense that they both wore masks. Passing this truth, the two go onto chat, more passively and honestly than either had in some time. The whole while, Anria couldn't help but wonder: "Why am I opening up to him?" Anria's past experiences and interactions all start to come to a boiling point, and erupt in an aggressive meeting with Edessa Elridge (Laura Schon, upon beginning). Anria, blinded by rage, and the fear of her unfamiliarity with all the new emotions she was beginning to feel again, quickly overcomes Laura's alter personality, Skye, in a short-lived spar. Unintentionally, Anria's assaults result in Laura's near death, and only one of Laura's personalities remained following: The shy and submissive Edessa Elridge. Anria immediately is devastated and shocked with shame, clearly fearing for the girl's life, a girl who she can't even fathom coming up with a term to describe their relationship. Anria, horrified by her recent actions, unwittingly stumbles upon a new situation nearly immediately after..

I was wondering if we could make our characters become friends. They both have troubled thoughts and the self esteem to match (pardon the fall out boy reference), and if we can get past the fact that neither of them like to converse I think it could be a great partnership!
