The woman giggled again. "Kinky," she muttered in response with a facetiously seductive expression. "But really, that's rather interesting," Anria added in her typical neutral tone. Then, with a slight nod to the book in P.J.'s hand, "Now it doesn't strike me as weird that you'd be reading that. Good story? I think I saw the movie once, but you know what they say; The book's always better."|Blah, short. This is seeming to be an interesting relationship, and I really like where it is going. We'll have to plot more, but it would be kind of interesting if they had a thing for a while, then maybe it doesn't work out, or maybe it does, and/or maybe they just become really good friends in a kind of partners-in-crime way  We'll have to sort that out| |

And we've come full circle...The smaller teen grinned. "It's a really good book, actually! The movie's okay, but I really like the book...it gets more into detail," P.J. felt himself ramble, but he didn't stop himself. "The synopsis of the story reminds me of our lives, in a way. Therians are always being pushed around by humans, and maybe one day...they'll push us too far, and they'll realize we're a lot more stronger than them."
(Yeah! I really like their relationship so far, but idk about them dating, we'll just have to rp some more to see how it goes.  ) |

"Yeah, the only issue is that therians tend to be wimps. It always seems like, regardless of the fact that a majority of our shifts are predators, they always act like prey. I've often wondered myself about how I would respond to a Therian uprising. There are bad humans, yes, but there's bad therians, too, just like we both have good people. And would we let humans fight alongside us for the same cause, or would we be be too ignorant, irrational, and cocky to accept it?" Anria shrugged, sighed, realizing she had gone on a bit of a rant. She paused for a moment. "I met a human once. Well, I mean recently. I was taking a trip over my old stomping grounds in the Away, and he was just... there. But he was friendly, had no intention of harming me, and was even... goofy. He's kinda the kind of guy that would would want in haven. And that got me thinking: how many of us therians are in reality humans, just trying to make a living away from the hostility?"
She pinched her lips together then, realizing she might have jinxed the human-free appearance of haven for herself. In any case, though, she thought, it would be interesting to know the truth. Are the rumors true? Do some therians really take the risk in bringing a human to haven?

(I'm just gonna say this takes place before me and ash's thread...also sorry for the late reply!)
P.J. thought about what Anria said for a moment. "That's an interesting thought. Technically, we should side with humans who think it's wrong to kill therians. But what if they're lying? What if they say that to gain our trust and betray us shortly after? Then again, if we think that, we could never find humans who we can actually trust. A paradox." he explained, going along with Anria's theory.
A harmless human?
"Hm." The smaller teen thought for awhile. "Taking a human into the haven would take a boat-load of trust, huh?" Peej stated. "I wonder if I would ever meet this guy..."
I don't think I'll ever meet him, though.
P.J smiled. "You know, Anria," he said. "You're really interesting to talk to."

"Hopefully we'll never have to find out," the red-head responded in regards to P.J.'s earlier comment about a paradox. "The Haven seems to be working, after all."
Anria chuckled in mockery of herself, shaking her head in disbelief. "That's the first time I've heard that," she admitted, smiling honestly to him. "I tend to be better at talking with my fists and knives."

Anria rolled her eyes in P.J.'s obvious disbelief. "Better believe it, buddy," she muttered, scratching her knee absentmindedly.
"I'd love to watch you kill someone one day, Anria."
Anria responded with a giddy smile. "And I'd love to have you watch me," she returned, giggling sinisterly once more. "I do pride myself on my creative and efficient methods of... dispatch..ment. If I dare say, I might be one of the greatest 'dispatchers', if not the greats, of all time." She felt herself sinking into a hole of flirtation, but she went with it, as she tended to. At the moment, though, she felt a deeper connection, contentedness, even, in talking with P.J., as though it were perhaps more comforting than she should be allowing herself.

P.J. listened intently, his crystal blue eyes twinkling with amazement. His hands were on both sides of his face, smiling at the thought of Anria killing others.
I guess I really am a sadist, huh?
"The best? I could only imagine..." his voice drifted off as he closed his eyes, fantasizing about Anria flawlessly "dispatching"...them. Wait...in the past 15 minutes or so, Peej has fantasized about Anria more times than he can count. ...Does he like Anria? His pale cheeks reddened once more at the thought of him being with someone.
No no nono...I probably just admire her work thoroughly...Yeah! That's right, I admire her! Phew, that was a close one.

P.J.'s already red cheeks turned a deep crimson. The small teen awkwardly laughed, and rubbed the back of his neck, avoiding Anria's intense gaze. Maybe it was true, maybe Peej did like talking about Anria. He was never going to admit it, but seeing as how many times P.J.'s cheeks have flushed, it should have been obvious. P.J was like a curious child hearing the best fairy tale he had ever heard listening to Anria's successes in killing. "I want to hear about you. Me? I've lived in that small house my entire life. I think I only left the house 5 times, I don't have a lot to talk about...The small teen perked up. He really didn't have a whole lot to say, the only interesting thing he's done were the adventures with himself: Drawing, writing, studying, reading... "Well, it may not be that interesting, but I'm an aspiring comic book writer and illustrator," P.J. explained. "As you've probably guessed, I have a darker sense of humor, so I use it for my horror/comedic comics." |
